I enjoy talking to others about social media and my own experiences with the medium, as well as attending industry events to talk to like-minded professionals and keep up to date with the latest trends and thinking. Any conversation that helps increase my knowledge of social media or challenges me to think about the practical applications of new technology in the industry is an opportunity that I relish. Through such talks, I have found myself invited to speak in front of larger groups of people, in business, students and seminars to share that knowledge.
I have spoken at prestigious business schools like the world famous Henley Business School, sat on expert panels for Q&A sessions and delivered workshops for conferences, colleges and schools. I enjoy meeting people and talking all things social media and about running my own business. I also enjoy creating training material and coaching people to get the best out of social media.
More recently, I've joined the PopUp Business School to help them with their social media efforts and as a faculty member, running workshops all around the UK and helping people start their own businesses using social media to get more customer and tell their story.
